When setting up my new Xbox One, I failed to correctly transfer my Xbox 360 account details onto the Xbox One. Instead, I accidently overwrote it with a new account setup. So, I now have 2 accounts associated with the same email address (even though I didn’t
think that was possible?). However, my (old) Xbox 360 account has my Xbox Live subscription details, but I can’t now reflect those on the 2nd (new) account that I attached to the Xbox One. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can associate my
Xbox 360 (old) account with my Xbox One, replacing the new account I set up? Thanks.

    :)

    Created a GT by accident...

    What happened?

As far as I can tell, I logged into xbox.com for the first time with my new Microsoft account (created to get a @outlook.com address) logged in and ended up accidentally creating an Xbox Live account with Gamertag.

    What do I want?

I want to get rid of this new Xbox Live account and associate my existing account with my new Microsoft account.

    What have I tried?

I created a new dummy Microsoft account so I could associate the new Xbox account to it and leave my proper MS account available to link to my real Xbox account, but I can't do it until the account's 30 days old.

My Question: Is there any way to get this sorted out without having to wait 30 days?

    Thanks!

    Changing the account region ????

I recently bought an xbox 360 and in the setup process I created an xbox live account, however the account region was created with a US region and I live in Canada. I can't setup the billing information for XBOX live gold because I can't change the region
    to Canada !!!

Is there a way to change the default US region on your account ?

    Hi There,

If I'm understanding you correctly (please correct me if I'm not), you have account A with Tag A on the 360 which has the Gold Subscription. Then you have account A with Tag B on the Xbox One that is silver.

You want Tag A to stay with Account A and be on your Xbox One instead of Tag B that is also tied to account A.

If that is the case, you will need to create a new Microsoft account (account B) and transfer Tab B over to that account. You can use the steps found here:

    support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

Keep in mind, a gamertag transfer can only happen every 30 days so you may have to wait a bit before you can complete the transfer.

As for transferring your gold subscription from Tag A to Tag B, purchases cannot be transferred between accounts. You would have to contact Phone Support to cancel the subscription on account A, and then you would have to start up a new subscription on account
    B. You can reach Support through this link:
    support.xbox.com/contact-us

Let me know if this helps, or if I didn't understand you correctly.
