    Can't apply case for review.


    I've gone to tech support about this twice, and after they told me three nights ago that they had their engineers working on this, it still doesn't work. I have a seven day communications suspension that I wish to apply for review, however when I go to my
    enforcement history and press "Apply for Review" it does nothing. It doesn't open the questionnaire or anything; I've tried three browsers, Chrome, Firefox and Edge, as well as my phone. The "Apply for Review" button is just orange, functionless text. I've
    gone through the guide on submitting a case review and it just tells me to click "Apply for Review" which quite obviously does not work.

    First I get suspended for reacting to a repeated teamkiller. Now I can't submit it for a review. This is ridiculous.

    If you recently received an Xbox Live Enforcement action on your account regarding Game DVR content, you would have received an email on your Microsoft account attached to your Gamertag.

    We don't have any further information to share on their behalf. If you run into any other support related issues, feel free to post up a new thread.

    You can't file for a case review regarding a suspension that was decided 12 months before.

    happening to me also is getting quite stupid. i got a communication ban from my friend playing on my account. i go to submit a review and it doesn't allow me to. and the people i talked to didn't know what to do they kept telling me to file one but cant

  5. I'd like to keep this thread alive. I received an Xbox live suspension on 12/30/15. I'm looking at it in my Enforcement and Activity History, but the "Apply for Review" link does not work. The text is there, but the link is not live. Why can I not apply
    for a review of this suspension? This is completely unfair -- I don't know what I did that required a suspension, and I can't get any information about it because the review channel is closed to me. Can a forum moderator PLEASE respond to me, and at least
    tell me who to turn to next? Thanks.

    It is only the Xbox Enforcement Team that can tell you why you have been suspended. Please try looking into your inbox, as they do generally send out an email which tells you what you have violated. But it does not tell you when this has happened.

    Please clear your browsers cache and cookies and try the link again. If that does not help, then please try using an alternative browser. Note, you can only submit a review during the suspension and the suspension has to be longer then a week, otherwise
    you can't apply for it.

    Its a waste of time. The team will wait till the last day of your ban to review the case and will provide 0 details as to what offence you commited. The enforcement team gets to just kinda go around making paying customers angry for fun. Also after they
    respond to your case (if you can even call it a response) theres no dialogue back and forth, thats just the end of it.

  9. I got suspended on the 7th, I think I know who the people were. I joined my friends party, but there were 4 other people in there with him. 2 immediately swore at me and the other 2 said that I should be kicked. I'd never (I don't think) come across them
    before. I was subsequently kicked from the party. Then the next morning I wake up to an email saying I have had my messages and party chat communications suspended until next Thursday. It's a bit of a coincidence. I am seriously annoyed. This is a stupid system.

    Wow okay, that's interesting about a year ago I was playing with a random guy that kept bragging about his underage stash in game chat (Whether or not he was lying & trolling, I am unsure) and I messaged him to stop telling me about it and that he was
    sick and needed help. I reported him never got an update, then within a few days I got a ban for sending that message to that guy. Even though in that message I stated that he is the one talking about it. That message was much clearer then this current one
    since it stated what he had and what he was doing. That's why I assumed it was an algorithm since the key words in that message I used were "child porn" and "your sick and need help". Is there anyway to contact the enforcement team to ask them to update or
    double check their current investigation guidelines/techniques for future cases?
