    Can’t add profile on Xbox after removing it.


    My Xbox series s would not let me sign in. It kept giving me the “you need internet for this” error. I removed the profile I was trying to sign into and now I can’t add a new account at all. Not even an error message, just a spinning circle and then I get booted back to home. I’ve factory reset the console 3 different times and have power cycled it even more. Any suggestions?

    Have you tried connecting the console trough a different WiFi, this can be done using a mobile hotspot.

    You can also try connecting the console trough the Ethernet cable.

    Hi,

    First remove your profile from the system. After it's been removed reset the console by holding the power button for a full 10 seconds until it turns off. Turn it back on and add your profile again.

    See if that helps.

    Try removing your profile by following
    this link.     After it's removed do a hard reset, then add it back.
