Can't Add Payment Method on Xbox or Website to account

There's a Gamepass ultimate R15 for 3 months and I tried to buy it but when I added my payment details, and I made sure everything is right, I always get this.

Check the info you entered. It doesn't match the info for this card.

I tried all combinations but had always used this. MynameInitial.Surname.

I thought it was an Xbox error and tried it on the website and got the same problem. Recently I left my Xbox plugged out for a few weeks because I wasn't using It, could that be why? After I plugged it back in it looked like my Xbox profile was removed somehow and had to add it again.

I saw many others had this problem and I don't see a solution please help me.

Goto account management and add payment option or add it via the console when you get the suspension msg which will take you to the payment option screen

If you do it via the website or commerce.microsoft.com and add payment method and then transfer balance or make primary payment method

I am sorry to know about the issue. Did you try to add your payment method through the Microsoft website or Xbox console? Please try it on both.

Be sure that your account region is correct by checking it on https://account.microsoft.com > Your info. Your payment method must be issued on the same country.

To isolate the issue, try to add your payment method to a different Microsoft account.

You need to access the billing section of your account, add a proper payment method and pay off anything outstanding. If you can't access or change that here on the website, call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and ask to speak to the billing people to sort it out.

Hello Jack, as you are not able to add your card directly through the console, try adding your payment method through the Microsoft account management website.

Select the type of payment method you want to add, add your info, and select Save
