can't add pay pal to Microsoft account

Discus and support can't add pay pal to Microsoft account in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I'm having issues adding a pay pal account..it's set up as it should be but when I go to add it, it just asks for a credit card. any one know how to...     can't add pay pal to Microsoft account


    I'm having issues adding a pay pal account..it's set up as it should be but when I go to add it, it just asks for a credit card. any one know how to get around this?

    error code: 80190126

    seems as soon as people add Pay-pal to their accounts they get this issue, nothing from microsoft as yet.

    Paypal requires a creditcard?

    I don't believe you need a Credit card or a Debit card with Pay Pal. You can link your bank account to your paypal, and pay for things without a card. You need to log in or create a Pay Pal account and click add Bank Account under your profile.



    You will need to verify your bank account, to do this Pay Pal will debit $1 from your bank and then re-credit you that amount. Once that is done you can use Pay Pal without a Credit or Debit card.

    Use PayPal with your Microsoft Account     article? Can you attempt to add your PayPal account through account.microsoft.com as well?

    I've tried a few times but it wasn't visa debit or a credit card..I don't have either.just straight up debit. now my brother hooked up his pay pal no issues..I'm already set up on pay pal and all the info matches info on xbox but cannot seem to get it connected
    no matter what I've tried...missing out on good dlc right haha

    Is your paypal linked to either a credit card or bank account? It must be linked to one of those in order for you to use it for your account.

    MS knows about the Pay Pal issue. There has been an issue trying to get Pay-Pal added to accounts for a couple days now. How many digits are you putting in when placing your CC on the account? CC's have to be 16 digits. If YOU cannot add the card, call MS
    and have them add the card on the account.

    Is it American express? Some times it just refuses to use it. My suggestion is to make a pay pal account with your credit card. I never had any trouble with pay pal account. Try remove and then add again your credit card. is it one from the list?
