    Can't add my profile


    This weekend we started getting error 0x800704cf telling us that we were not connected to the internet when the module actually was connected. I looked online and did everything other folks suggested (hard restarts and system reset) and the error went
    away. However now I can't re-add my profile. When I click on "Add New", I get a grey screen that flashes a couple of times and then just goes back to the "Add New" screen, I've reset the system probably 5 times now. Any help folks can provide would be
    appreciated.

    As additional steps, if all of above don't work neither the factory reset, try an offline update to reset your Xbox One OS, maybe something is corrupted, follow instruction on this page https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/system-updates-solution
    I did the offline update and it didn't work. Same issue with unable to add my profile back. FYI - The date shows on the "Last Update" as 12/31/1600.

    Any other suggestions?

    We did install NBA2K20 earlier this week just prior to the issue happening. I've uninstalled it just to be safe but it didn't make a difference.

    Is the connection you are trying via wifi or cable? Did you try to clear the cache? Check with support as you have tried one of the recommended procedures.

    It is Wi-Fi. I did clear the MAC (I think that's the acronym) and restarted a couple of different times with no success.

    This link, XBox system update operating system shows the frequency of updates to the XBox OS for General Availability
    (GA).

    If you cant redownload your profile it suggests you have a network connection issue.

    After doing the offline update the console should of connected to XBLive to update it to the latest GA as shown in the link above.

    I would try a wired ethernet cable connection to your network gateway.

    Turn off your console and power cycle your gateway and wait until its fully functional BEFORE turning your console back on.

    If everything is ok it will do the system update and should allow you to download your profile.

    If not, try another Factory reset while the console is connected with a wired ethernet cable
