Can't add friends and family settings

Hi for some unknown reason we can't seem to add friends on xbox live. Someone's post said to change family settings passcode. So I tried and it said it was wrong, the reset question I don't know the answer to it, so went to account settings and checked the
pass code and that I got right so thought maybe it would work now on family settings but still saying it's incorrect.....anyone?

No child listed in xbox privacy settings

I have microsoft family setup and have two children in it.. One created an xbox account and we wanted to add each other as friends. Well he doesn't show up in my options to adjust in the xbox privacy settings and he can't because his settings don't allow
him to add friends.. He shows up in my family though..

Can't add family member

I Search and I still can't find an answer of how to add family members. I want to buy the Family Pack but I can't add my family members. There isn't a button that add family members on this Xbox website nor on the Xbox console in the family settings.

Sorry to hear it. If you've forgotten the passcode for the Family Settings you'll need to contact phone support. They will be able to walk you through the reset procedures.

Same problem as well. I have two children who are in my Microsoft Family and I (as their father) can manage their screen time etc. But they are not in my Xbox family settings so I can't manage their accounts there. But they can't add each other or me as
a 'friend' in the Xbox settings, so we can't invite each other to play Minecraft Windows 10 version together!

I don't have an Xbox console. We only have three Windows 10 PCs available.

I am having the same issue and when going to the settings on the family account, there is no option to change any settings allowing my son to add friends on Minecraft on his switch. I can set screen time restrictions, content restrictions, etc. But nothing
for allowing him to add friends on applictions.

Its not over 18 years old, its a child account under 18 so we can manage it as the parents for things like content restrictions and screen time. Something recently went crazy with the settings and now it can't add friends despite me having that family setting
to allow friends to be added.
