Can't Add Credit Card Payment Method on XB1

I have been trying to add a payment method, well actually update it to no avail. I enter all credit card info and then it asks me to save, once I click save, it does not save. It still does not display it under payments. Ive tried to login via a PC to accounts.microsoft.com
and funny thing but it says my credit card, but when I click Update, there is nothing to update.

This is really frustrating. I wish it would give me a message of some sort or something. Had to cancel my Gold subscription because of this. In order to resubscribe, this has to be fixed.

How to Manage your Xbox LIVE payment options

Overview

You can choose to use more than one payment method for your Xbox LIVE account. The payment options include credit cards and PayPal accounts. You can use these payment options to buy items from Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

The 2-year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract uses only credit cards as the payment option. The other payment options like Debit Cards, Prepaid cards and PayPal are not valid for this subscription. However, you can change your payment to another credit card.

If it is before the end of the two years and there is no credit card associated with your account, it is assumed you have terminated the subscription, and you will be charged an Early Termination Fee and any applicable taxes.

It is easy to edit your payment options on your console or at Xbox.com

Steps to Follow

Add or change a payment option using your console

1) Use your Xbox LIVE gamertag to Sign in.

2) Proceed to Settings and then select Account.

3) Select Manage Payment Options, and then choose either of the following:

If you want to add a new credit card, select Add Credit Card.

If you want to use your PayPal account on Xbox LIVE, select Add PayPal. You will be required to enter your PayPal username and password. Follow the instructions to add PayPal as a payment option. You cannot use PayPal as a payment option for the 2 year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract. PayPal is not available in all regions.

4) After making changes to payment options, select Update Payment Option.

Add or Change a payment option on Xbox.com

1) Go to My Account.

2) Select Payments and Billings and click on Manage Payment Options.

3) You may be required to Sign in using your Microsoft account (email and password).

4) Proceed to do either of the following:

If you want to edit a payment option, select Edit.

If you want to add a payment option, you can do either of the following:

Click on Add New Credit Card and enter the credit card information

Click on PAY with PayPal and follow the instructions.

Trouble adding payment method

Whenever I try to add a payment method it doesn't work! My credit card is definitely valid and I've tried every billing address I know. Could somebody help me? Whenever I try to hit add payment method after filling in all info, it says, "Can't Authenticate
Payment Method. Please try again or use a different card."

On the billing.microsoft.com site select your old credit card under payment methods and then select "Go to payment method information" and then under credit card status click "Use a different payment method" and select or add the new credit card.

This should switch everything over to the new cc and you should be able to remove it.

So were you able to add the other credit cards to the system? If so you should be able to transfer your balance from the old credit card to the new credit card. Follow the steps below, if you are still having issue's I would suggest contacting Xbox Phone
support.

To transfer your services and balances to a new payment method, follow these steps:

Sign in to the Billing and Account Management website.

Under Your payment methods, click the payment method you want to change.

Under Payment method activity, click Go to payment method information.

Under Payment method information for this account, click Use a different payment method.

Click Add new credit card, and then click Next.

Click Add new Direct Debit, and then click Next.

On the Confirm transfer page, confirm the balances and services you want to transfer, and then click Next.

Enter the information for the new payment method, and then click Save.

You can't use your Microsoft account as a payment method for a subscription. You need a payment method that supports ongoing payments like a credit card or PayPal.

No, you can't top up your account but you can split payment if you have a credit/debit card that you can add as a payment method. Just select the card as your payment method and when you confirm purchase it'll ask you if you want to use your Microsoft account
balance and have the rest charged to your card. Or you could buy a point card and redeem it.

I can't remove credit card because it shows that my paypal is linked with Xbox Game Pass and when i'm clicking remove It redirects me to add another payment method
