cant add any friends

Whenever I try to add new friends on my Windows Phone 8.1 Lumia 930 it does not work.

When I try on windows live website i get 'An error has occurred, please try again later'

I have an adult account (not a child) - any help appreciated

Its was written on the xbox status that people have this type of peoblem they had fixed it now try add them

I am getting tired of everytime I try to add a friend it says error try again later and I paid my membership and I am getting very upset with this

Have you tried doing it through the Games app? I just tried it on the
http://xbox.com site and it let me. I have the same phone. Try closing all open apps (hold the back button and press the X on every app) and turning the phone off and back on and see if that helps.
