Can't add account to Xbox One

Hi the other day i was having issues logging into my xbox account so my solution was just to remove the account and add it back BUT now when i try to add it back it won't let me. What happens is when i click "+ Add
new" a loading screen pops up for about a second and then goes away, comes back for about 5 seconds and then just goes away and puts me back where i was. I don't get an error code or anything so i can't identify the issue. I tried to factory reset the xbox,
without deleting games and apps and the same thing happened. Then I backed everything onto an external hard drive and reset competely to factory settings, deleting everything from the xbox. The same thing keeps happening. I can't sign-in, add a new account
or do anything. Xbox is currently completely useless. Anyone have any ideas on how I may be able to fix this?

Set up my phone as a hotspot and was able to connect and sign-in through that! Thank you so much for the help!

Hello Roddgy,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. This is definitely a tough issue to troubleshoot since a factory reset did nothing, and there is no error code/message to reference. By any chance, have you already tried connecting your console to a different
network? A different home network would be ideal, but you can test out a hotspot if that is all you have.

One other thing to consider is that you may come across issues/bugs if you are part of the preview program. Are you an insider member? If so, you should

report this issue through the insider hub, as well as to the

insider reddit. Factory resets do not do much to preview consoles.

Same Problem Here.... I can't add my Xbox Live Account to my new Xbox One. It says the internet connect is "good to go" but I can't add a account or update the system. It continues to fail.
