    Can't Add a friend


    I am trying to add a friend to my list and it won't let me. It says that I am blocked when I try to add him but the other person checked and I am not on his block list. We even tried to go to the xbox live web site and we can't do it there. I can add
    other people but not this particular person. We are pretty well stumped, what could be the problem?

    Can't add a specific friend...

    I'm trying to add Trepidwinter256 to my friends and I keep getting the same error message :

    Sorry, we could only save some of your changes. try saving again.

    I can add other people and remove them as well. It seems the problem is specific to that gamertag.

    I used to have this person on my friends list for years then, one day it removes him off my friends list. I tried to add him again and it gives me the message off xbox can't do this at this time. When in a party I can't hear him and he can't here me, yet
    everyone else can hear both of us. We tried several things and can figure out a way to add each other. We both Don't know what to do?

    I believe that the max number of friends you can have on your list is 1,000.

    And what ratio do you have between "Friends" and "Followers"? If you add to much people and this ratio too big you cannot add more and will freeze your friends list.

    Did you tried to power cycle your console? You can find all info of how to do it here: https://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

    If doesnt work, you still can delete and re add the profile.
    Not sure why this would work since as i said, it's also affected on the xbox website and app but i tried it anyway. Safe to say, nothing's changed
