    So here's an update: Using the Xbox phone support, we figured out that the code I got was for the wrong region, so the dealer must have messed things up and I have to contact him to get a correct one.

    Any updates with this issue?? Having the same problem from a XBOX Live card I purchased from Gamestop that is a 6 month + 1 Bonus month. Took the card back into Gamestop today and guy informed me that he can't help me due to the fact that we scratched off
    the back so we could enter code.

    Here's the error thing I got:

    Same issue here. Can't redeem 12 month card. If an employee could email me a solution that would be great.

    Hi everyone,

    I had the same exact problem. I resolved it weirdly but I resolved it so hope it helps: for that the only thing you need (lol) is a Xbox 360. I have tried to activate my 12 month subscription on my Xbox One, phone app, Xbox's site and nothing worked until
    I tried to use the code through my old (and beloved) 360 and BOUM! It worked magically.

    Contact to MicrosoftSupport, is probably that your account have blocked the purchases or is a child account.

    i thought maybe i was the only one having this issue at the time, guess not. the same things happening to me even with trying to serch the error code. its getting quite frustrating. clearly its something on their end for it not working. anyone who has bought
    it and has not been able to use Live should be refunded for the time they have not been able to use Live since trying to Redeem their time. Having to possible wait a few weeks to try and attempt for it to work? now thats some BS
