    Can't Access Xbox Privacy Settings


    Hello,

    I am trying to access the Xbox Privacy settings so i can play games online, but every time i do, it redirects me to this page:

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help...e-safety/manage-app-privacy-settings-xbox-one

    In fact, i even tried to access other parts of settings, and it kicks me back to that page.

    Why is this happening? I was part of a Microsoft Family and was set to be a child, but the family got deleted because we had no use for it., but it looks like it still thinks that i am part of a family and i can't change anything unless my "parent" changes it.

    Please help as i would like to play online multiplayer with friends.

    Maybe your account's getting recognized as a Child (younger than 18 years old)?

    Hi yes i managed to solved the problem by signing out of the family and back in and out and somehow it ended up working.

    Hi!

    The best option is to double-check your account's Date of Birth by visiting https://account.microsoft.com/profile. Calculate the DOB to the present time and if it makes your account younger than 18, the account is a Child. Otherwise, it's an Adult.

    Only an Adult account has the ability to customize a profile's privacy and online safety settings.

    Just to be sure—how would I check what age my account is being recognized as?
