Can't access Weekly/Daily sales and Free Game games with Gold from dashboard

I cannot get either of the two to consistently pop up. I buy a good deal of games now with the new 5$ deals, and I'm looking for more except I can't see them.

Also I still haven't seen the new free game ONCE

Any consistent way of always getting the promotions and free game to show?

Free Haunt Arcade game + new sales and specials app

A new app called sales and specials + is now available its contains all the weekly deals plus extra deals and at this time a daily scratch card game in which you can win prizes.

Also the XBLA game haunt is available for a limited time for free, enter through kinect central on your dashboard to download it free.(US ONLY)

 

Xbox Live Confusion?

Xbox Live is free.

You can make a Gold account, or a Silver account.

The Gold account gives you access to access to play online, along with free monthly games and weekly deals. This has a fee.

The Silver account gives you access to Xbox Live and apps, but you just can't play online or get the free games. This is free.

 

The tiles on the dashboard show different promotions at different times. There is no way to have them show anything consistantly. You can try going to browse games and you may see the sale tiles. You should also follow majornelson.com He posts all of the
deals on this site so you'll know what's available.

 

my only response to that would be thru the web I know that's not maybe what you wanna hear but on the web xbox.com and you can hover over the xbox live gold and then the drop down menu you can see sales & specials or games with gold.
