    Can't access Privacy & Online Safety settings/Friends ALL appear offline


    Hello,

    I am sure this has been reported before so I apologize in advance for the redundancy of this topic. Whether is on my Xbox One Console or on Xbox.com website, I cannot access my privacy settings. In addition, none of my friends are appearing online. They
    can see that I am online but on my console everyone appears offline. Here what I have done thus far.

    1. FULL CONSOLE SHUTDOWN.

    2. Powered on Xbox Console then held Xbox power button until console shut down

    3. Reset my router (I have an OPEN NAT just in case you were wondering)

    4. Checked my router settings and DMZ my Xbox One IP

    5. Check Xbox services on Xbox.com and they are Normal/Running

    Not sure what more I can do. When I try to access my privacy settings on Xbox.com it states "Uh ...oh. That shouldn't have happened. It appears you found a glitch in our system. Please try again later." Any assistance is much appreciated.

    Being followed on xbox live.

    Please change your account privacy settings, specifically your online privacy setting to only appear as online to your 'Friends Only'. Also, instruct the friends you play with to do the same with their accounts.

    Doing this will show you as offline to this person. When you appear offline, this person will no longer be able to follow you around on Xbox LIVE. The option for them to join your game sessions will be greyed out. I ask that your friends do the same because
    typically, if this person can not join via your Gamertag, they will try to join your games via one of your friends. If your friends also appear offline, this person will not be able to join you at all.

    How can I stop the Xbox app from sharing my current activity?

    Hey Lspasus,

    Currently, there is no way to appear online but not show an activity. Note that games that appear in the "My Games" section on the Xbox app will be listed. I believe the final answer is that you'd need to appear offline. You can change that and other privacy
    settings related to that in the following menu:

    Go to the Settings menu > Account > Privacy & Online Safety > View details & customize. Check it out and see if any of those filters apply to anything you want.

    Hey, one way to ensure he can't keep following you is for you and your friend to change your privacy settings so that random players on Xbox live can't see your online status. You may not want to keep it that way, but if someone is bugging you they won't
    be able to join your session if you're offline.

    2. Account
    3. Privacy and online safety
    4. Xbox Live Privacy
    5. view details and customise
    6. friends and clubs

    Friends still seeing I'm online when I'm signed out of the Xbox App

    Hi NickG2002,

    Appearing your account profile as Offline should help you inform your friends that you're not available. However, there are cases that you're still showing as online on some of your friends which could possibly due to signing in the account on other devices.
    Since you already set your Xbox profile to appear Offline, I recommend that you hide your online status by changing your privacy settings. To get started, kindly perform the following steps below:

    1. Sign in your account on this link. Provide the security code needed to access your Privacy and Online Safety Settings.
    2. Under Privacy Tab, change the setting under "See if you're online (Xbox 360: Online Status)".

    You can change this setting anytime if you wish to play with your friends and inform that you're online.
