Cant access network settings on my xbox one S

i need help, my xbox one s wont let me access the network settings. it kicks me straight back out?

See, the problem is, I cant navigate to network settings like that page suggests if I’m doing xbox set-up. It’s a endless circle of I cant get to my settings without setting up a network, and I can’t get on my network without my MAC address. Why xbox doesn’t
have a way to view your MAC address from before having to set up your network beats me. Sony doesn’t present you with this problem, you don’t have to set up a network right away. If xbox at least let you access your settings before this, I wouldn’t be reconsidering
my purchase right now.

Hello fellow community member, thanks for inquiring. I live about 20 minutes outside of Seattle. The problem is not with network connectivity, I run a business connection with a d/l speed of 17.70 Mbps an upload of 3.39 Mbps with 0% packet loss. All of my
other internet connected devices (2 smart tv's, 3 Xbox 360's, 3 PC's, and 10 mobile devices) all connect to the internet, and in the case of the 360's, can log in to Live. But when the Xbox One platform drops access to Live my One is useless because it cant
access my profile to see if my account can access the downloaded content.

You could try resetting you network settings on the console.

If that doesn't work can you run the Xbox live network test and see where it fails.
