Can't access my movies bought on microsoft.

Can't access my movies. I can get to a page where there is a synopsis of the movie and see play button with a triangle but the controller won't highlight the play button. Any help would be highly appreciated. Most of my 5 yr olds Godzilla movies are on there,
he's not enjoying it one bit. Thanks in advance.

i received this code after spending 14.99 on a movie. and now i can't watch it? i try to go to my movies that i have bought previously and can't access those either. ..... come on

So I just found out That all the movies that I have bought on Xbox video I can't access with the Xbox one. Apparently you can only stream them for a limited time. Good thing I still have my 360, all my movies are on there. Microsoft better fix this
problem ASAP...I won't buy any more movies till this problem is solved.

Come on Microsoft you can do better than this. You're gonna loose a lot of movie sales because of this problem.

To clarify, are you trying to view these movies from an Xbox One console? Are you currently signed into the same account that purchased them? Are you able to view any other movies that you own on the console?

I am on my Xb1, I'm signed in and can play online games. I can't access my movies. There's sort of a Grey haze over them on the screen where they are all together. The screen where it used to go and play is described above. Thanks for the reply.

 

Thanks very much, to clarify. You're unable to access any movie you try correct? Where are you going on the console to view the movies and what steps are you taking to get there. Can you give us an example of one or two movies that you're unable to access
as well?

From my Xbox home I hit the movies and TV app. It takes me to all my movies where I see each represented by an icon. I click on which movie I'd like which takes me to a load screen for that movie. The movie icon is on the left of the screen, the movie synopsis
is on the right, there is a play button which is not highlight able with my controller. There is a message that tells me to go online to stream content but I'm already online. Thanks for the help, I work long days and this is my only time to respond. I'm
trying to watch godzilla final wars, flash gordon. None of them will stream.

 

Thanks for the info and steps, we weren't able to reproduce that same issue here, but we do have some steps for you to try to fix this issue.

First let's have you Power Cycle the console fully with the steps.

After the power cycle check to see if it works, if not go ahead and navigate to Settings > Network > Network settings. On the Network settings screen you'll see a few options, one of these should say either "Go Offline" or "Go Online"

Your console also has a spot in the middle that says Current Network Status. If this says "Offline" you'll need to toggle the setting that states "Go Online" to make sure your console is connecting to Xbox Live.

Can you please double check those things for us and let us know how it goes? I also want to mention that we're not in the office on Saturday or Sunday, so if you're still having issues after using those steps, please feel free to reach out to the Chat/Phone
