Can't access my Gamertag on Xbox Live

So I'm in an odd predicament. I haven't been on Xbox Live for a while and went over to a friend's house last night and we were playing some Xbox 360. I wanted to sign into my account but it kept saying the email address and password didn't match the gamertag.
I know with 100% certainty this was this email address/account that the gamertag was associated with as I don't delete any of my old emails and I have a ton of emails from Microsoft with my gamertag's name in it and information about billing (ex. when subscriptions
started/ended).

When I went to xbox.com/forgot to change the password for my Microsoft account since I had forgotten it, it said there wasn't an account with my email address associated with it. I used my skype account to login and linked my email
address to that and tried to get to xbox, but it gave me a brand new gamertag ().

My Microsoft account was hacked in the past and someone took my email address and phone number off of the account. I thought I had recovered the account properly and forgot about it (this was 10/02/16, so almost exactly a year ago. Again,
I know this as I have the email stating my security info was deleted from my account). I suppose they may have access to my gamertag now? Is is possible that they moved my gamertag to a new Microsoft account? If so, is there any way I can still retrieve my
account or am I just out of luck at this point? I had a TON of arcade games that I spent a lot of money on. I really don't want to lose access to all of those games, but I don't know how I can track my gamertag down, especially considering the fact that they
may have changed the gamertag to something else, and it's now probably associated with a different Microsoft account that I don't own.

I should be able to provide any information that may be needed to track the account down like the email address and phone number originally associated with the account as well as the original gamertag. I'm not sure if I still have the billing information
as I haven't had a gold membership in over a year, but I may be able to find that information as well if necessary. I just really want my old gamertag back.

x box live

I have bought xbox live gold online with my gamertag. This gamertag is new and I want to associate it with my son's x box so he has access to xbox live (not bothered about changing his gamertag)

Can't seem to find a way to get my profile to accept the information and get live on the xbox. Help

He has previosuly had the month free on his gamer tag

 

can one windows ID have more then one xbox LIVE account?

when I set up my xbox live profile in 2009 (gamertag: Nightshade113), i used one email address. then a couple months later my brother made an xbox LIVE profile with the same windows LIVE ID. now i can't access my LIVE profile on my new xbox 360. it doesn't
take the password.

 

You would have to contact xbox customer support at 1800 4 my xbox and they would one be able to look up your account with you gamer tag and if they can verify ownership of the account from their end they would be able to tell you your Microsoft account associated
with the gamertag if it was truly compromised they would be able to do an unauthorized access escalation for your account and if you still have access to an xbox that had that profile on it they will ask you questions about your account and info about that
xbox console and then send the form up to the escalations team.

If your account is truly compromised and they determine that it was then they will have you create a new Microsoft account but have no xbox profile attached to it so do not sign in on an xbox or at xbox.com (because it will generate a gamer tag) once the
form is sent up to the escalations team they will move everything over to the new Microsoft account that you created. if there is a gamer tag attached they wont be able to transfer everything over.

 

Ah, ok. Unfortunately I did sign into my original Microsoft account and it gave me a new gamertag, but I suppose I can always see if they can attach it to a new account if I can provide them with all the necessary information. I'll
try giving them a call sometime this week when I don't have work/classes and see what they say. I definitely have access to my old 360 that my account was created and used on so that's good news. Thanks a million for the help!
