Can't access my Fortnite account?

For months now, every time I try to log into my Microsoft joined account to play Fortnite, it says I have to verify my account with a code/link on my phone. I've done it at least twenty times and every time it's loading, says it's done and then crashes. The message never goes away and it keeps wanting me to verify. Anyone else ever had this problem?

Is this your Microsoft account requiring verification or is this the Epic games account requesting verification? Could you post a screenshot, without sharing any personal information, on what this screen looks like?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you are having an issue with Fortnite. Sounds like there is something going on with the Epic account itself. We recommend follow up with the ticket you got with Epic games.

sorry but can't transfer the games or progress to another account.

You mentioned the game Fortnite, I only know this:

if you access to your account from epic games, you can unlink the epic games account from the xbox account and then, that epic account can be linked to another microsoft account / email.

Fortnite DLC codes redeemed through Xbox are for Xbox consoles only. You need to load Fortnite on an Xbox console for the content to be redeemed to your Fortnite account. You can do this with a physical console or Xbox Cloud Gaming: Xbox.com/play

I understand the instructions and that is not the question. The question remains as to what specific settings need to be chosen in order for my child account to access Fortnite.
