Can't access my downloaded games after factory reset

Hi all. Had a fun packed afternoon yesterday where initially I tried unsuccessfully to get my Thrustmaster steering wheel to work on my xbox one s. It would fire up the box but no buttons would work. Anyway to cut a long story short I then could not run
the box normally as I would get this 'Black Screen Of Death' that I now hear so much about, but was not previously aware of...Naturally I tried reseting the box as sugested on various forums to no avail..I eventually, however, managed to get enough on the
screen to go for a factory rest, still believing the whole problem was down to me and not something online. Anyway I am no up and running, having gone through the whole signing up process again..The only problem now is although I saved, apparently, my donloaded
games I can not play them. Instead I am forwarded to the Microsoft (which tells me the game is installed on my box) store where Im told to make sure I'm signed in Xbox Live. As I'm already signed in ith my original Microsoft account I don't understand what
Im doing wrong. Any help appreciated Thanks..

Hi,

Currently their are some issues with downloading, redeeming or purchasing games.

I don't know for sure if this also affects already downloaded games on a machine that has been reset.

Ok, thanks for that. This is my very first console so totally unaware of the issues apparently tied to this way of gaming. And I thought the PC was a pain lol..I hope I can eventually access my downloaded games as I've gone mad lately with the spending
in that direction, seeing as the titles that interest me are not available in store/on disc. Oh well, the technological age eh!..

There is an service outage at the moment. Microsoft engineers are working on getting it resolved.

Hello there!

Regarding your case, I recommend that you try the following steps provided below:

The following troubleshooting step will help you clear out your MAC address:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 10-15 seconds plug all your cables back in and then restart your console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
