Cant access Microsoft account

Not sure if this is the correct place, so please move it if needed but anyways....

I've been fighting with an issue for almost a year now that has prevented me from signing into my account on my PC and on my xbox 360. It started with me just being blocked from using the web site. in which it would say "it looks like someone else is using
your account" and ask for either email verification (which I cant use since the email was a fake that I only used in order to link it to my bungie.net profile, which was already made with that email) or fill out a questionnaire to try and recover my account.
Then a few month ago, I was prompted to sign in with my email and password one day on my console, only to get an error message saying "sorry, something is wrong with your account" and telling me to visit Xbox.com for help, and would be signed out automatically
and be prevented from signing in on any of my profiles (even ones which were never signed up for Xbox live). I eventually gave up and settled with playing offline on my console up until now. I tried resetting my password several times using my security question,
but to no avail. I even called tech support and the rep (forgot her name) told me to try filling the questionnaire out (this time with more info such as credit card info which had been previously used on the account but removed by my mother, of whom is the
card holder), but all that did was send a password reset request. I followed the instructions and reset my password, but still there was no change. I then decided to search online for a solution and found a guide on Youtube which said to delete my profile
from my console (just the info), clear my system cache, restart the console, and then re-download my profile. I did that and was confronted with yet another problem, now it says there is a problem with my credentials and wont allow my to re download my profile.
It is apparent that I am not the only one to have this issue, nor am I the first. I can only hope this issue is resolved soon, before the system deletes my account due to inactivity. If this issue does not get resolved, I will likely switch over to PSN and
never use XBL again, though i hope it doesn't come to that.

can i transfer my xbox live gold account to a new gamertag?

my old email was hacked so i cant access my microsoft account. i cant change it without getting into my old account.any suggestions? i cant get a hold of anyone from microsoft to help

 

EDIT: I believe the error message I was receiving at first was 80151011 or something similar

please try the following steps,

1. Check account.live.com/.../manage to see if at least two security proofs are setup and verified. A phone number and alternate email would be best. If you have set up two step verification
also also check this link:
support.xbox.com/.../no-prompt-security-code and use the app password instead of your account password at step 7.

2. Delete your profile from the console, be sure to delete only the profile, to do so check this link:

support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

3. Clear the console cache, see this link for the how to:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

4. Turn the console off.

5. Turn the console on.

6. Clear the console cache one more time

7. Redownload your profile.(See the same link as 2.)

I already tried that previously, but after deleting my profile and attempting to re-download my profile, I am given this message "sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to
https://account.live.com to fix the problem" but obviously xbox.com is of no help since it wont let me sign into my account on there regardless of how many times I reset my password (and it tells me my
account has been "recovered) and i did not have any other security proofs aside from a secret question.

 

and obviously this is not my original account, since i cant sign into my account, and thus cant use the forums on that account either.

 

That message is a security issue. please go to account.live.com and sign in with your email and password. Please don't post that here of course. Might need to verify your email before you can download your profile.

thats my whole issue, its that I CAN NOT use xbox.com as it will not let me sign in and there is no way to verify the email as it is a fake email, and as i said before, I only changed it to that email ON MY CONSOLE for the purpose of linking my account to
another game-related site. I dont understand why after playing with the same profile on the same console for about 5 years now, xbl suddenly thinks someone hacked my account.

 

Well if it is a fake email, like you just randomly typed one in for you xbox live account I would say and try to create the email if you can if you have not done that yet.

 

Ok, please try the steps on this link if you haven't already to try and reset the password etc:

if all fail then follow the steps mentioned at the end and contact Xbox Support (by Phone)

They are the only ones left to assist in a situation like this.

 

I finally got my account back today. I ended up calling support twice before my case was escalated and sent to an actual person and not some automated system, and within hours I got a phone call from the agent telling me they verified my identity and sent
2 emails to an alternate email I provided; one with a password reset link and the other with instructions on how to proceed. I ended up having to request another password reset email be sent after the first one expired due to me taking too long to think of
a new password, and I received it today. I wont be able to log in on here with my recover account for 30 days, so I'm using this account. Thanks go out to the support team for their help as well as you guys on the forum for doing your best to help out. and
