Can't access hotmail account for Xbox etc.

Not sure where to post this but I had no idea and seriously need help.

So I want to change my email details and payment options for my Xbox 360 account. But it is not letting me to cause I have to update my security or something. Now it is asking me 3 ways to get a code. Use my 2 emails or my phone number. The main backup email
I used, I deleted it cause it was no longer in use to me. The 2nd one I have no idea what it is and probably forgot the password. The phone number is my old one and have no idea what it is either. I have no other way to access my account. It is not letting
me do anything!!

Could someone please try to help me with this.

Gmail Accounts should be able to be used for Xbox Live.

I use my gmail account to access all of Microsoft services - Live, Outlook, Hotmail, etc.

You have to create an account using an existing email address. Also look for something related to alias.

Lost Access to Account

Hello,

I have lost access to the Hotmail account tied to my Xbox Live account. The Hotmail account has been compromised, password and security questions have been changed, and I apparently lack the information required to recover the account via the Hotmail Account
Recovery service. I have already investigated methods of recovering my Hotmail account and it seems that nothing can be done on that front. I'm not concerned about the account itself, it was created for the sole purpose of creating an Xbox Live Account with.

With the chances of recovering the Hotmail account exhausted, I was wondering if there is any way to change the Live ID / Email Account associated with my Xbox Live account from the compromised Hotmail address to my secure Live address.

I currently have limited access to my Xbox Live account. I can sign on to my account using the console to play games (This does not require entering the Hotmail password), however I'm unable to use any account settings which require access to the linked
Hotmail account, including the cancellation or renewal of Xbox Live Gold, and security features. I am also unable to sign in on my Xbox Live account on any Microsoft or Xbox websites (I created a new account in order to access these forums).

Is there anything I can do to link my Xbox Live account to a Live ID I have secure access to? Keeping in mind:

1. The Hotmail account linked to my Xbox Live account is unrecoverable

2. I have access to my Xbox Live account via my 360 (But can't to my knowledge change any settings due to the linked ID being compromised)

unfortunately email accounts with Microsoft domains (Hotmail, Outlook, Live, etc) can't be unlinked from Xbox profiles

please note that if your email address is a Microsoft email (@live, @outlook, @hotmail, etc) it can't be removed from an Xbox account

Hi,

my assumption is, that if the Xbox Live Account is used, the Microsoft Account it is based on (Hotmail/OutLook etc) is also seen as used, which would mean that the account is seen as active.

But a Hotmail email account wouldn't be seen as active unless you physically logged into the email account to check messages?...unless using the Microsoft account automatically logs you into your Hotmail account..but then you'd still need to physically open the Hotmail email (through whatever medium is used to access messages) to show the system it is active I would have thought

if the primary email address is a Microsoft account (Outlook, Live, Hotmail) it can't be removed as this will close the email account permanently and it will no longer be accessible.
