Cant access games when Xbox is disconnected from internet

Hard to explain. I turn on my Xbox without an internet connection. I click the My games and apps thumbnail from the home tab and instead of showing all of my digital games thumbnails it shows an ad for gamepass. If i try to view the contents from the internal
storage it takes me back to the game pass ad. The weird part is when i press the glowing X on my controller and pick My games and apps,it will show all of my pinned games thumbnails and im able to play my games from there.

Some games require you to open multiple times to make it work when offline, even if it's on disk

Is it a physical or digital game?

I never had gamepass. Yes i go to network settings and disconnect my xbox from the internet, i dont go in offline mode. The games will be there and playable when i connect to the internet and then disconnect my xbox from the internet but if restart my Xbox
without an internet connection it just shows an ad for gamepass. Its like i have to do an online check in to access my games. Internal hard drive.

i never had this problem before. I was always able to play my games without an internet connection.

Thanks for coming to the forums. When you go offline, are you doing so from the network settings? Also, are you using an external hard drive that the games are saved to? If the games are game pass games, you will need to be online as it is unable to recognize
how you own/able to play the game. As with game pass you do not technically own the game basically leasing it.
