Can't Access Friends list and Parties...AGAIN

YES I restarted my Xbox One, what's the excuse this time? Is it really that hard to create "decoy servers" and lur in P2P?? You can boot them constantly, over and over. Oh and put out an update that send a unique code per console that allows exclusive
access to live, not P2P. Do I need to apply to Microsoft? Or are they actually working on "fighting" Lizard squad?

Dude, I wish I was having that issue.

I am having an issue where I CAN'T EVEN SEE MY FRIENDS LIST! Meaning, I can't invite friends to my games, can't invite them to parties, and I can't even join them assuming my friend's list won't load.

this is such BS. so tired of the lack of communication and support form microsoft. i am sick of paying for games and a service that i cant use

 

Can someone that actually has some weight in the Microsoft community PLEASE explain how a "next gen" console has so many issues???? It's absurd that we have to deal with this day in and day out while still being forced to pay for a service that runs mediocre
at best. I'm tired of seeing the same computer generated responses to the problems players speak on in these forums. We need a real explanation as to why this service sucks so bad instead of "we have a team right on it sorry for the inconvenience check our
status page for updates." Get it together Microsoft being forced to pay for this shotty service is absolutely ludicrous

Actually, I'm kinda with the over-reactors on this one. I've never seen so many problems with live as I have since the One came out. It is out of control, now. They've had time to fix it, to stabilize it, to make sure it doesn't happen any more.

But they haven't. The game space is ever evolving, and even though we didn't get the "always online" system, it actually is an always online system. So yes, these people have every right to be angry, since they're paying for a service, and Microsoft is not
delivering.

 

I cant even accsess support to find out if the issue with xbox live right now is being fixed or not!!! i have no friends lists and can not play any games and its been like this for hours now.

 

Yea it's not displayed on "Service status." It must be something serious if they are not updating Xbox live's status.

 

I get a runtime error when i try to go into support service Status. I get nothing

 

Update: The Service encountered a critical crash, all servers and services are being worked on.

 

0x87c40000 is the main error code for social.

 

That was a quick fix. If this was PSN, it would be down for ages.
