Can't access chat help, name fields are greyed out, being billed for xbox live but no ...

Hi,

I'm trying to unsubscribe from xbox live, I'm being billed for it on my credit card but stopped using it a while ago. When I log into my account at xbox.com and try to unsub, it doesn't show me subscribed to any services.

I tried to contact support over chat, but every time I do, the First/Last Name fields are greyed-out and won't let me type anything in, so the page refuses to let me chat. I'm using chrome but also tried in IE with a similar problem.

Greyed out name fields - Can't start support chat

I'm trying to get help, but the required name fields to start a support chat are greyed out. I'm trying to figure out why my Xbox Live Gold subscription (trial) is active in my account, but Xbox One games don't recognize it. We just setup our Xbox.

Need help to contact support

I need help to connect to support. When I select xBox support -> Xbox One -> Setup Console and select chat to an operator.

The next screen that comes up is please login and I do so.

Then it has the First name and Last Name as required fields which are blank and greyed out.

I can't click submit since my name is not filled out correctly. But I can't do it since they are greyed out.

I went to my account and both first name and last name are filled out correctly.

So, is there any way to get support on how to reach support?

Be sure to check if the region in the bottom left corner matches your actual region

 

can't change billing info using EITHER xbox or PC!!! Cannot contact live chat because name fields are grayed out in BOTH browsers, aggghhhhjhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

that's 1 less gold subscriber for you microsoft, really displeased

Not at all. However, if you'd actually read my post you would have seen that the link provides a phone number for you to call. Please read before you post.

 

Excuse me I am from Egypt and I have a problem with my xbox and tried to chat with xbox support but I have the first name and last name grayed issue so I can't call xbox support cu I am not in the same region

onyxishere provided a link to phone support up-thread that you can use if you are experiencing issues. However I recommend checking your
Microsoft Commerce account and making sure that you have a proper and correct billing address listed. You do not have to have a payment method on file however you do need information in order to fill
out the chat boxes.
