If you have not signed in with your gamertag on another console, and are having problems logging into your account, then there's a high probability that your account has been compromised.

You will need to open an
Unauthorized Access (UA) claim with Xbox Support, and they will guide you through the rest of the process.

Please don't be upset at the simplicity of this suggestion, but is your Xbox Live Gold membership up to date?

You may want to try clearing the MAC address too. To do that just go to your network settings, click advanced network settings, alternate MAC address, select clear, then reset. Your console will restart at that point.

That seems to have worked for some. Otherwise you will have to wait for the service alert to end.
