    Can't accept terms of service because I don't have access to parent account


    I am unable to access xbox live because I can't accept terms of service. This being due to not having access to my parent account, which was created almost 6 years ago. I have tried the email recovery form, it has been a week since I submitted it, chock
    full of helpful info that PROVED that I have access to the account. It said 24 hours at most, I am going on more than 7 days now. I want access to my account, I have spent thousands of dollars over the years on this system, and am fed up of waiting. I can't
    fix anything due to this terms of service, can't chat with a microsoft employee for SUPPORT because I can't accept the terms of service. I know for a fact calling the support will due me no help, as they have no way of fixing this problem except by accepting
    my form. My issue number is [Mod Removed], please help or I am going to by a PS4 and be done with this microsoft bull crap.

    Can't access account

    Basically since the recent update to the terms of service (or whatever) I haven't been able to sign into xbox live, this is because I can't accept these terms because my account has a 'parent account' (a second one of mine) associated with it. I don't have
    access to this second windows account so I can't accept the terms and I can't change any settings.

    What should I do?

    Cannot play Age of Empires Online due to terms of service and parent approval

    I've paid more than $30 on Age of Empires Online, and I cannot access the product key because of the terms of service agreement.

    Everytime I login it asks for a terms of service acceptance and then the parent account has to accept the agreement.

    Problem is that I don't even have a clue what the parent account is, or what the email or password was. I'm over 18 years old, and i'm unable to promote my account to the parent account because of the terms of service agreement.

    Sorry to hear it. However, if you submitted a form to gain access to the email you'll need to contact the email provider at their support website for more info.

    However, if you're 18 or older you can promote your child account using the steps at the following link.

    I can read quite well. He does not have access to the parent account which you don't need to access in order to promote a child account.

    Now, please go ahead and create a new thread detailing your issue with any troubleshooting steps that you have already tried so that I can continue to ask baseless questions and give useless answers.

    I already used google to find out how to change my account to adult. Problem is, when i try to follow the "how to..", i need to accept terms of use before i can modify my settings. But in order to accept terms of use, i need my parents e-mail they don't
    even use anymore

    So no password reset can't work.

    My parents can't fill any recovery because they don't even remember what hotmail was. The way my account is blocked, ise because of the terms of use and need of parental approval (email + password login) to accept new terms of use to get my account as adult.

    I am 19 and I cant use my gamertag because it's asking me to accept terms of use... But I can't do that as the email address connected to my dad's parent account is no longer in use and it won't accept any passwords. Both my dad and I have tried singing
    in on Xbox website but we can't access our account settings it just tells us to log in and accept terms of use... Then log back in and accept... It goes round in circles.

    Parental Account Issues

    I don't have access to the Parental Account so I can't get rid of it. I can't even go into My Account at xbox.com because I need to agree to the terms and conditions, which I can't because I don't have access to the Parent Account. I have an ongoing XBox
    live Gold Membership tied to this account which I would like stopped and I can't actually do that.

    When I try to access My Account at xbox.com it says I've found a glitch and brings up an error page.

    To clarify, I can't accept the terms of use because I'm still considered a minor by my account. But I can't change that without accepting the terms of use, and I can't accept the terms of use because I don't remember waht I filled in there 5 years ago.
    So I have no way of accepting the terms of use at all.
