Cannot watch Halo: Nightfall

From the Halo Channel: BUY HALO

Click on that, opens my Master Chief Collection

Go to Extras - Halo: Nightfall - select that - opens up Halo Channel which tells me to buy Halo

Thoughts?

Halo 5 Beta

Why? Did you watch all of the Halo: Nightfall episodes? If so, you will unlock the "Nightfall" armor for Halo 5 under the rewards tab at the top right of the screen and it will prompt you to download the Halo 5 Beta.

 

halo nightfall won't play

I downloaded halo nightfall through the halo channel and redeemed the code that came with halo the master chief collection. when I go to watch it it still says I need to buy nightfall even though it is downloaded. when I click it it takes me too the xbox
store and says its installed. but going back to the halo channel from there it tells me to buy nightfall.

 

Many have this problem. I contacted support... update for you all. me and several people contacted MS. they are investigating now as they could not troubleshoot the problem. so lets see what happens. any one who says you still have to buy the episodes is
completely wrong FYI.

I feel pretty stupid.

The fix was to enter the code on the card that came with my copy of MCC

Yes, but for those of us who bought the DIGITAL version of the game, there is no code, so that 'solution' is pretty bloody useless, isn't it.

 

I have the same problem. Why the heck would you need a code to watch a video anyway.

yea your fix for the code does not help us WE HAVE DIGITA. thanks though..

 

I bought it digital and are having the same problem. Its pretty disapointing really.

Hey everyone!

We are receiving reports that this issue has been resolved. Please go ahead and give the following steps a try:

• From the Dashboard, navigate to the Halo Channel app.
• Select Menu and then select Quit.
• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and navigate to the Halo Channel app.
• Select the Halo Channel app and under the Feature tab, select Play.

Give the steps above a try and let us know if you are still being prompted to buy Halo. Thanks!
