Cannot use Paypal bank account to purchase

I bought two games on the 1st using my Paypal bank account.. which went through fine, although Paypal had to take money out of another bank account (Backup Funding) to make up for what was not already in Paypal. I decide to buy two more games today, but
am given error message 80167611. I checked the error status code page, but none of the options I found were attractive. 1) Check billing address---check, never anything wrong with this. 2) Contact your bank or financial institution---why, I have the funds
in the account, account is fine. 3) Try your purchase again later---it's been a week since my last transaction. 4) Use an Xbox Giftcard if available---don't need one. 5) Use Paypal to purchase Xbox Live Gold Memberships and games---Paypal is what I'm trying
to use. 6) Confirm that you are using an approved payment method---can't get anymore "approved" than using a Paypal bank account 7) Check card number, exp. date, security code, and name on the card---i am not trying to pay with a card.

Probably a stupid question

If you are purchasing Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One you have to use a credit card or Paypal. You cannot use a pre-existing balance on your Microsoft account. If you want to use that balance, then you need to purchase it on the Xbox 360 first.

 

Possibly dumb paypal question...

Additional note: The source I need to use is my bank account. If I transfer the total from my bank account to just the paypal account, will it take it from that? I cannot have it charging my card.

 

Atleast Xbox is recognising that you have payment options :\

For me, Neither my Visa card, or my Paypal are showing up, and they are registered to.

I actually tried adding my Paypal Mastercard to force the purchase of one game, but then MS gave the same error message (80167611) on the 2nd game I tried to purchase. I bought the 2nd game by adding a Visa linked to my actual bank account. So far I've used
my Paypal bank account, Paypal Mastercard, and a different banks' Visa to purchase. Ridiculous. If I can't use the Visa the next time I wanna purchase, I am going to flip a major flip!

 

My error code is 8C320008. My paypal account has my bank and credit card info, but still won't work. This is my first time trying to buy a game, PLEASE HELP! ! ! !

 

Do u have to add a credit card before u can pay with PayPal?

Make sure that your billing information on your Xbox Live Account matches with the payment option.

Try this:

1. go to
support.xbox.com/.../error-code-lookup

2. enter the error code

If none of the steps work, you may need to contact Xbox support to check for any pending balance, locks, risk blocks, violations, etc.
