Cannot use chat or party feature of xBox live

We have never had a problem with the Xbox one for years but about 2 weeks ago started having issues with being frequently disconnected from a party, to the point where multi player is impossible. It is especially problematic with Dark Souls 3 (though it
used to be fine for that game too.)

Chat will cut in and out, and when in a party mny status will cycle between normal and connecting and then finally go to disconnected. I will get a message saying "Your network settings are blocking party chat 0x807A1007"

The issue persists for wired and wireless. It also persists if I bypass the router and plug the xbox one directly into the modem.

Here are my latest network performance values:

Download Speed 117.3mbps

Upload Speed 5.65mbps

Latency 15ms

Packet Loss 0%

Wireless Strength 100% (when wireless was used.)

Router - Netgear WNDR4300

Modem - Motorola Surfboard SB6121

We have tried everything we could find with router settings but nothing has helped. Also, there were no hardware changes that were made before the problem started and as I mentioned, things have been great for years. So we have tried: port forwarding, port
triggering, assigning a static IP address to the xbox, using DMZ, putting the xbox in power saving mode with UPnP, assigning highest QOS priority to the Xbox, assigning highest QOS priority to the xbox's ethernet port, etc. We have followed all of the steps
on Xbox One NAT Error | NAT Type Help as well as dozens of other online threads.

We seem to have mainly moderate NAT status when going through our router, we don't know what it was previously since we never had issues before. We can achieve open status by plugging directly into the modem but we have the same issue then.

Skype replacing Parties?

I'm hoping they keep Xbox Live Party because tonnes of people use it. Xbox Live ^"PARTY"^ sounds cool than "skype-chat" unless they name it "skype party" or something, to me it is. Xbox Live Party is a feature which Sony has not been able to match.

I originally posted this information on another thread created by a person having the same problem and was told to make a new thread, but now I seem to be having trouble getting a response to this one. Do I need to post under some other category? Support
seemed like the correct place.

 

C'mon now, please. I made a post about a chronic problem that we need help with, in what I thought was a reasonable place. I got a response, which only instructed me to make a new thread, I did so and it has sat here for days without any reply whatsoever.
(And the old thread was locked.) If I need to post somewhere else, just tell me, I will post anywhere. I just want to be able to fix this. We have paid a lot of money for a product that without warning or explanation has just stopped working. The forums and
the internets are chock full of superstition and reams of things that may have helped some people but don't help us, we have tried and tried and tried some more. If I need to buy new hardware, that's fine, just let me know. If there is some magic setting that
needs to be changed, great! I'll do that. I would like to think this problem can be fixed, so please just work with us to make that happen. Maybe we are unique, and have the only xbox one problem in the world that can't be fixed, fine! we'll cope!!! I promise,
just please, please please stop ignoring us.
