    I have an Xbox 360 and need to update my Xbox live in order to be “able to connect”. However, I cannot connect to Xbox live...

    I tried all the options the website provides to connect, but no success. Can anyone help me out?

    Caught in a dang loop

    I am stuck in a dang loop on my xbox 360, anytime I try to do anything it says I have to download an update, but it fails saying cannot connect to xbox live. and of course, cannot connect to xbox live without doing the update. how am I suppose to resolve
    this. also, guess my kid deleted the profiles, and of course will not let me create a new profile or download one because the update will not download because cannot connect to xbox live??? help!

    Wait what issue are you all having? Have you downloaded the update but cannot connect to xbox live, or can you not install the initial update?

    Hi there,

    could you add the actual error message? Since it's currently not showing anything Cannot update and/or connect to Xbox Live :)

    Also try running a network test to see if that will show any information

    I cannot connect to a modem either. I have had no success downloading the update. Multiple tries but it will not download wirelessly. It will not connect to xbox live unless I download the update yet I cannot download the update. I connected wirelessly just

    It still won't allow me to download the profile because it says there is a system update available from Xbox Live, but I cannot connect to Live, therefore I cannot download the update. What should I do? Any help appreciated.
