  1. Cannot Transfer Gamertag From One M$ Account To Another

I'm trying to transfer my Gamertag from an old AOL account to the Gmail account I use on my Windows 8 PC. When I try to complete this process on my Xbox 360, I receive error code 8016FE6D. My Gmail does not currently have a Gamertag attached to it, and
it hasn't been changed at all in the last 30 days.

When I called Xbox phone support about this, I was told that it is impossible to move my Gamertag from one Microsoft account to another. I was also told that I would need to set up a third e-mail address to move my Gamertag to, and I would need to repurchase
Office 2013 on that e-mail address if I wanted to have everything in one place. When I asked to be escalated up to the Customer Advocacy Team, the phone support representative refused to do so. She wouldn't escalate the call at all, and said that what I
want is just "impossible" to do.

I want my Gamertag to be moved over to my Gmail account, where I currently have my active Office subscription. It seems absolutely ridiculous to me that I'd need to repurchase Office for a different e-mail account, if I want it all to be consolidated.

Can someone on here please help me out? This is incredibly frustrating.

    :)

  2. Merge Gamertags?

You cannot merge two profiles or gamertags together. You also cannot transfer anything from one account to another one.

The only way to have the gamertag to use with your main account would be to pay to change the gamertag twice.

Cannot Transfer Gamertag From One M$ Account To Another

Error 8016FE6D occurs when moving your gamertag to another Microsoft account

You get the following error when you try to move your gamertag from one Microsoft account to another Microsoft account:

    8016FE6D

This may mean that the original Microsoft account or your Xbox Live account is in one of the following states:

The Xbox Live account has a past-due balance.

The current Microsoft account associated with the Xbox Live account is deleted or expired.

The Xbox Live account has been flagged for unauthorized access.

The Xbox Live account has a local currency balance.

The Microsoft account you are trying to move your gamertag from is under 30 days old. (This helps prevent your gamertag from being stolen by an attacker.)

Or, it may mean that the “target” Microsoft account is ineligible because:

That Microsoft account is associated with another Xbox Live account.

That Microsoft account is associated with a billing account.

    Solutions

To resolve this problem, try the following solutions:

Solution 1: If you’re trying to change the email address you use to sign in to your Xbox console, you can do this by changing the primary alias on the account. Learn more about managing aliases, see

Change the email address you use to sign in to your Microsoft account
    .

Solution 2: Learn if any of the account issues listed above are affecting your Xbox live account by signing in at
My account to review your account balances as well as any recent purchases.

Transfer content to a different account

Here is what the bottom line comes to. Nothing can be transfered from one gamertag to the next. DRM is transfering content, from the same gamertag, to a different console so it does not reassign it to a different console. Content from one gamertag can
be used on another account except for some arcade games and avatar items but they cannot be fully transfered from one gamertag to the next.

    exchange my 2 accounts

You cannot transfer game licenses from one account to another. However, game licenses are linked to both the gamertag that first purchased it and the console it was first downloaded to.

This means that you'll be able to access CoD Ghosts with gamertag B but the season pass will remain with gamertag A and cannot be used for the other.

can i change gamertag and transfer my stats to the new one????

No you cannot transfer anything from one account to another one.

You can however change your gamertag to something else. All of you saves and everything will stay on the same account, but with a different name.
