Cannot talk with xbox one headset

Ever since yesterday, I have not been able to make any noise at all on my xbox headset. I can still hear my friends, but they cannot hear me. It doesnt matter if I am on a party, in game chat, or on skype, I cant talk and cannot seem to fix it. If anyone
else is having this problem and/or knows how to fix it, could you help me out?

    Thanks

    :)

Cannot talk at all - PX5 Turtle Beaches

    Hello,

I'm using a turtle beach PX5 headset along with a headset adapter. The chat has been working all the time up until now, however it has always sometimes had issues where i cannot talk. But now i cannot fix it at all, it wont let me talk. I've tried unmuting
my headset, updating the controller, hard powering off my console.

Can someone please help me fix my chat issues. I cannot enjoy playing xbox online without being able to talk to people.

Hey there, have you tried testing it? To test:

    Test the headset

To test the headset, start a party (requires connectivity) to test the audio. To do this:

    1.Sign in to Xbox Live.

2.From the Home screen, select My Games & apps.

    3.Select Apps.

    4.Scroll right and select Party.

    5.Select Start a party.

Note You don’t need to invite anyone to your party.

Note If you can’t start a party, check your connectivity using the Xbox One Multiplayer Game Solution.

6.Make sure your headset is not muted (check that the orange LED light next to the Mute button is not on).

7.Make sure that the volume is turned up.

    8.Speak into the microphone.

If your headset is working, you’ll see the green dot next to your name light up.

I am having this same problem, except it started last week. I can hear people but they cannot hear me. I have done the hard reset, tested the mic and headset, tried it on other controllers and the works. From my research, this has been going on for a while,
through several different updates. In this research, I have attempted every fix and test that was shown, including NAT, privacy and chat settings, hard reset, multiplayer testing and the like. What else is there to try?

2 player chat on same xbox

The same problem has happened to me. One user might use the headset and one only. If you tried using two headsets into two different controllers, it won't work. I've tried to do the same when I first got mine with my cousin.

Example; If Player 1 has the headset in and is talking perfectly fine, Player 2 cannot use the other headset and speak to the other users as well. It must be into one controller, (the one that is signed into Xbox Live).

Television Audio Through Xbox One Headset

If you are talking about the Chat headset, that comes with Xbox One, then No. If you are talking about Stereo Headset, with an Stereo Headset Adapter. then Yes. Using the Stereo Headset Adapter give to both Chat and Game sound to the headset. If you TV,
is connected to the Xbox, your TV sound, will go to the headset.
