Cannot sync my controller

Discus and support Cannot sync my controller in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi, my xbox one wireless controller wont sync at all, have tried all the obvious solutions eg new battery pack, power cycles etc but nothing is working...     Hi, my xbox one wireless controller wont sync at all, have tried all the obvious solutions eg new battery pack, power cycles etc but nothing is working currently will only work via the micro usb, can anyone suggest anything?

    2nd Controller

    My main controller works fine but I bought a 2nd controller to play with mates and all that and cannot sync it. Any help?

    I believe the sync button is for when kinect cannot see the controller or if its disconnected.

    Is there anything that might be interfering with the signal? maybe a wireless router or somthing else close by the console.

    Power on the console with the power button and let it finish booting. Then power-on the controller with the Guide button. When the controller's lights start spinning, hit the sync button on the console.

    have noticed that when the green lights spin on the console after pressing the sync button that only three are spinning controller or user two does not light up at all..
    It's possible your controller is damaged in some way and can no longer sync. Try
    to re-pair the controller using the steps provided above.

    unfortunately you cannot, the controller is set to ''always'' connect to the last synced device.

    you will have to sync your controller every time you want to switch device

    and turning off the controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button until it turn off is the intended way of turning it off without turning the Xbox off (when synced to an Xbox), or when synced to another device other then the Xbox
