Cannot switch to party chat on Xbox

Discus and support Cannot switch to party chat on Xbox in XBoX Rewards & Social to solve the problem; Kind of a unique problem I think but since last Friday whenever I plug in my headset to my controller it won’t let me switch from game chat to party...     Cannot switch to party chat on Xbox


    Kind of a unique problem I think but since last Friday whenever I plug in my headset to my controller it won’t let me switch from game chat to party chat. I usually end up having to join on my phone. But my headset is a Drop + Sennheiser PC38X Gaming Headset which doesn’t have any additional buttons for party or game chat on it, just the audio dial.

    Party Chat problem

    For some funny reason it sometimes helps if you cannot hear them, to switch to game chat and then switch back to party chat. Have you ever tried that?

    FIX NEEDED. Game chat is not working in fortnite. xbox part chat works fine

    Join an Xbox party chat, go to options and switch to game chat. You can then leave the Xbox party and the fortnite party chat should work again

    You can switch to in-game chat by going to the "Your party" panel in Xbox and selecting "Switch to game chat.
