    Cannot stream music to Xbox?


    So I've been using this app called doubletwist on my android device to stream music to my Xbox. I've been using it for a while now. Recently however, when I tried to stream my music, whenever I go into music source and click doubletwist, it says "Connecting
    to PC" then after a while it says something like "Unable to connect to the PC" then it talks about a firewall. However, I am not using a PC and I'm only using my android device. So I went to turn it off on doubletwist, still nothing. So I test my network connection
    then I plug in my device to see if that works. Now doubletwist isn't even showing up in my Music Source thing. All it shows is Hard Drive. What is going on? I did switch to Shaw awhile ago if that has to do with anything.

    Playing music while gaming...

    Unless you have the music files downloaded locally, you cannot stream music while you game unfortunatly.

    Cannot stream music to Xbox?

    That may have something to do with it. It could also be an issue with the app itself.

    Personally I use Tversity and have never had any issues with streaming

    I highly recommend that you contact the Xbox Technical department for this one. They can be contacted via:
    support.xbox.com/.../contact-us. This way, you'll be able to figure out with them if the issue is about the app itself, connectivity, or your console.

    That is a good idea except that Microsoft does not support 3rd party hardware or software. The call would not help, I'm afraid.

    If I'm not mistaken, they do. Because there are third party stuffs that we use in Xbox right? Like headsets, hard drives, etc. As for Apps, you have a point there. It's just that, contacting the Xbox Support team would open an idea of what he can use aside
    from the app that you have suggested to him.

    On the Xbox console, you cannot download any of the music, it's a streaming only service. On a PC and Windows Phone you should able to download the music.

    If I'm not mistaken, they do. Because there are third party stuffs that we use in Xbox right? Like headsets, hard drives, etc. As for Apps, you have a point there. It's just that, contacting the Xbox Support team would open an idea of what he can use aside
