    Cannot Start or Join Xbox Live Party


    Hey All,

    Was wondering if anyone can advise on this problem I am having. I am unable to start my own party on xbox live or join one either. I have switched my NAT to open and am able to play multiplayer games with no issue.

    When I try and start a party the party app snaps in and looks as though its loading but does not eventually lead to option of starting a party. It keeps looking like it is loading.

    Has anyone had this problem or could advise on it?

    Having the exact same problem! I cannot start a party, I cannot join a party and I cannot view parties. I cannot view my social feed, change my status to appear online or access key Xbox live settings. I keep receiving the [0x800C0008] error code when I
    try to start parties and "There is a temporary problem with the service. Please try again." when trying to access Xbox live settings.

    I have been having the exact same issue for the last day and a half. I cannot start a party, I cannot join a party and I cannot view parties. I cannot view my social feed, change my status to appear online or access key Xbox live settings. I keep receiving
    the [0x800C0008] error code when I try to start parties and "There is a temporary problem with the service. Please try again." when trying to access Xbox live settings. Please help! :'(

    Cannot Start or Join Xbox Live Party

    Try doing a hard reboot. Hold the power button on the front of the console for 8 sec until it shuts down then unplug from the outlet for 30 sec then plug back in and power back on. Hopefully this will resolve the issue.

    Can't connect to parties POST update.

    Am also having this issue since the update. Cannot join parties, cannot invite people to party i've started either. Error message, 'can't connect to xbox live party'. Can join game invite and can invite people to game without any issues. Will try the above
    when I get home, fingers crossed.
