Cannot start/join a party - Open NAT verified - test multiplayer connection confirmed. ISP ...

My son had an xbox 360 and got an xbox one for this birthday. He had no issues with starting/joining parties on xbox 360 but we cannot connect on the xbox one!! Here's what we've tried so far:

Confirmed that NAT is Open

Confirmed that all tests for one and multiplayer work fine

Confirmed my router is UPnP enabled (router is a cisco e2500). Have DCHP Reservation for the xbox one and even set up port forwarding.

Called ISP (RCN - Lehigh valley) to confirm no Ports are blocked. They claimed there were none but not able to confirm.

Spent over an hour chatting with xbox support going through various settings. Removed the profile multiple times. Rebooted multiple times STILL get an error that says "Something when wrong" when trying to start a party.

Connected the xbox one DIRECTLY TO the modem (rcn owned **** CM820) and it STILL did not work

What else can I try? I am at the end of my rope and have no idea what to do next. All this kid wanted was to be on xbox one to talk to his friends and he cannot connect no matter what I do?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Party app is not loading

I cannot load the Party app, I cannot join a Party, and I cannot be invited. Everything was working fine until yesterday. Ports are open, NAT is open, connection tests are good. Tried a different router, tried no router. I have also tried resetting. Please
advise.

can't join to 1 friend

I've got problem . I cannot join xbl party, private chat , accept game invitation . Mine and my friend's nat is open. We've got the same ISP, i read there are problems with connection if 2 players got same ISP. Any tips ?

OMG IT WAS A PRIVACY SETTING!

Would have been nice if the xbox support person mentioned that there are different xbox live settings for 360 and one!!!! His setting was blocked for multiplayer gaming for xbox one.

Microsoft - you gotta make your error messages better! I just lost 4 hours of my life troubleshooting an issue that should have taken 2 minutes to fix!!!

I just bought my Xbox yesterday and I'm having the same problem except it lets me join parties and talk to my friends. But when I go to join or host a multiplayer session it says it is unavailable and I need to connect to Xbox live. My NAT is open and both
the network and multiplayer tests were successful.

No NAT warning? If you do not have a NAT warning, have your friend (the person who started the game or party you cannot join) test his or her Xbox LIVE connection using the above steps. If your friend also does not have a NAT warning, try the next solution.

Could you please do a multiplayer connection test? In the result screen please hold LT, LB, RT and RB simultaneously to start the detailed connection test and post the results here. If you cannot obtain a teredo ip you should be on a strict nat, not an open
one.
