Cannot start games

I press A on any of my games and it does not start any of them. I have hard reset the console, and I am in the preview program.

I just bought the 360 used a couple months back, the hdd was already in it, so I have no clue where it came from. If what you are saying is the cause, is there a solution for it???

Is there anyway to check if it has the firmware?

Game cannot start

You may try deleting the game again and then delete corrupted files on the console. You may go to Settings > System > Storage > click any memory unit attached > Press X on the controller for "Deletion Suggestions". Scroll through the list of deletion suggestions
and delete anything that is corrupted, it will have an exclamation point on it. Do this for all memory units attached in your console.

After doing this, clear the cache again and restart the console. Re-download the game afterwards. You may contact Xbox Support for further assistance.

First, if you see the "assigned to another console" message, just follow these steps:

Sign into your new console, or if you have more than one console, the console in which you are trying to make your primary console.
Send an item to your download queue.
Go to your active downloads. To do this, press the "guide button", then "marketplace", then active downloads".
Select the item and press "A"
Choose the second option, "download all items". Choosing this option makes this console your primary console and the problem will cease permanently.

As for Destroy All Humans, are you referring to the original Xbox game, or the new Xbox 360 game? If it's the original game, please refer to

this sticky regarding playing Originals on your 360 console.

There is no way to check for firmware but odds are the drive is probably a 3rd party one even if it's labeled as official (these things happen).

The best way to check is download the game to a console with an official drive or purchase an official drive to redownload the game to. The only way to be sure you're getting an official hard drive is to purchase from a legitimate source such as GameStop,
etc.

Sorry to hear it. Where did you purchase the hard drive from? If it was from an online retailer such as Ebay or Amazon the drive may be a 3rd party drive which do not have the required firmware to run a backwards compatible game.

@Sinulog16: I looked for the files you suggested, and did find some, however, after deleting game, deleting the Deletion Suggestions, clearing cache and re-downloading, same occurred. Still not working.

If I pull out the 320gb hdd, would the game try to download to the internal 4gb drive or would the console tell me to install a drive.

When I download it, it never asks me for the USB I have tried, only the 320gb drive...
