Cannot start Flight Simulator. Nothing happens after clicking "Launch" button in MS Store

Hello, since January i cannot run the sim. After clicking “Launch” button in MS Store nothing happens.Sometimes it starts but it’s very random and let’s say it’s 1 time within 30 tries. When it finally starts and I quit it to check if it will start again it does not start anymore.I think it happened after the latest updated of the sim or after installing 20H2 windows update and it’s additional stuff(yeah, i did not update windows for a while).
I have latest updates of windows and M$ store.What I’ve tried:

store: terminate repair reset

xbox: terminate repair reset uninstall

MSFS: terminate repair reset uninstall

Gaming services: terminate repair reset

Firewall: switched off

AV: turned off

sfc scannow

DISMM commands

Reverting windows updates

Reinstalling microsoft store

Restarting PC

increasing paging file

turning of fast reboot

Full reinstall of the sim:

game on drive C:\ and data on other drive

on other drive game and data

After i click the “launch” button, sometimes i see the process in task manager but the games does not start and has 6000 K of memory usage when normally it has 300 000 K / 1 000 000 K.
I’ve read some topics that issue can be related to windows 20H2 update, but also people were mentioning that gaming services are the reason.
I have no idea what is wrong and how i can fix it. Can anyone share some advice?The worst thing is that when it starts it happens randomly so i cannot provide/use some steps to be able to always run the sim :frowning:

Problem solved. Issue was my ESET antivirus. Thing that helped me.

Remove all xbox apps from your pc
Terminate repair reset and uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator only the app(you don't need to remove asobo data ~120GB)
Terminate repair and reset gaming services
Terminate repair and reset store
Turn off all windows defender features(firewall, malware protection etc.)
Uninstall your antivirus. In my case it was ESET
Clear/fix registry with CCleaner (free version)
Clear/fix registry with some other registry cleaner (in my case it was Auslogics Registry Cleaner) - it found a lot more issues with registry than CCleaner
So now you don't have xbox apps, windows defender and firewall
Enter MS Store
Install MSFS
Run the game
Enable Windows Defender (in my case after enabling all windows defender stuff it didn't impact MSFS)
That's all folks

The only thing left is missing ESET, I'm afraid to install it and dunno if i will. At least if something will go wrong again after installation we know the steps to bring it back again

Here's how I fixed it:

Open your start menu

Right click on Microsoft Flight Simulator

Choose More>App Settings

Scroll down to the "Reset" section

Click both the "Repair" button, and also the "Reset" button.

Re-launch Microsoft Flight Simulator

Unfortunately it still does not work. When I start flight simulator it says a mandatory update is available. Clicking "OK" takes you to the store.

Nothing happens. It show " you are good to go" after pressing update. this cycle of trial has been going on for the last couple of days.

In any case Flight simulator and store goes through the same cycle but the game cannot be started.

Thanks anyways for you quick response and time . Any other suggestions?
