Cannot spend 50GBP Gift

I received a 50GBP Xbox Live Reward at some point. I am in ZA region and cannot use the GBP. At the time I received the reward i was not in GB region but in ZA. I have contacted support before and again this evening (Ref no:
[Mod Removed]) and they said I must post in the forum. I am wanting to know HOW can i spend this or can it be converted into my local currency please.

Fifa 15 Xbox one bundle, £50 Xbox store currency not received

I saw an advertisement on my xbox 360 dashboard saying that if I upgraded to an Xbox One console before the 11/10/14 I would receive a 50GBP gift card to spend on the Xbox Store. With this I purchased the bundle from Amazon (one of the associated providers
of the deal) on the 7/10/14 and it came to me by the 9/10/14. I activated the console as my home console as this was a requirement of the deal. The gift code was supposed to come to me by the 24/10/14 it is now the 26/10/14 and I have not received the code.
I have been speaking to customer support at Amazon and Xbox. Xbox support have been referring me to Amazon and Amazon have been referring me to Xbox I have spent hours on the phone, and I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me, supposedly as part of
the deal you have to activate the code by 1/11/14, and if I don't receive the code by then I am effectively losing £50, I am not the only one that this has happened to, my friend also bought the console with the same deal as me and has not received the code
for the £50GBP either.

Why the 90 day expiration on XBox Reward Cards

Would anyone be able to tell me how come once points are redeemed for an XBox gift card you only have 90 days to spend it? Makes it tough to save up for a $60 game when you have to spend points and gift cards so fast

Rewards membership is limited to certain regions

Are you sure you are in a xbox Rewards region?

If you originally signed up in uk but then transfered to za afterword then there is nothing you can do

Currency doesn't transfer between regjons

 

xbox Rewards is only available in certain regions

South Africa isn't one of them

What if I move to another country or change my region?Rewards Credits are converted to the currency associated with your original country of enrollment. Any Rewards Credits already deposited are yours to keep, but changing your region will result in us being
unable to deposit any Pending Credits that convert to your new region's currency.

Not to worry, though! If you would like to continue participating in Xbox Live Rewards, simply opt out of the program and then sign back up again. Your account will start fresh and you'll start earning Rewards
Credits that will convert to your new currency. So, if you're planning on moving, be sure to request your Rewards Credits deposit early before you change your region.

You are going to have to change your console region back to UK to use the content

For that little though it may not be worth it

For the best experience it's best not to try and get things you arent supposed to

FYI you are going to have to wait till the rewards program arrives in South Africa before you can enroll
