Cannot sign into Xboxlive get error message.

This happened a couple weeks ago. I keep getting an erroneous error message when attempting to sign in. It cleared up after a few hours last time. Here's to hoping.

minesweeper

when I try to sign onto Microsoft minesweeper, I get a message "sorry we cannot sign you in, please go to xboxlive and sign in. I can play the games, but nothing is saved

I am signed in and still get this message..when I go to solitaire, I am able to sign in properly and it saves my results

any suggestions

Hey there, it would be super helpful if you can share the exact error code you're getting. In most cases, you can perform a hard reboot by holding down the power button until the console is completely off and then turning it back on. Otherwise, it might
have even been something with the Xbox Live Service and you can always check its status here: Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage

The code it displayed had no meaning, when I looked it up it said it didn't exist and try a different code. I had also noticed a bunch of other people getting this same code. No one could get an answer for what this code meant. I am sorry that I do not
remember the code just now, but there were like 29 postings a couple weeks ago with people getting this code.

If its the same one I'm thinking of then I found that some people were having success doing the following: SETTINGS/NETWORK/NETWORK SETTINGS/ADVANCED SETTINGS/ALTERNATE MAC ADDRESS/CLEAR/RESTART or
by doing a hard reboot of the console.

This is ridiculous myself plus 2 friends got booted off xboxlive at the same time & now we all keep getting same error code & cannot get back on. When going on xboxlive website to check live status also an error message pops up on that page. I swear this
has got to be a conspiracy to get you to buy the One. Those are the only friends online is those who own the One. Fix it please! We all pay too much $$ to Microsoft for these errors.
