Cannot sign into xbox app

Whenever I try to pull the xbox app up, I am hitting this error message. Any suggestions?

I cant sign into the xbox app on my windows 10 laptop

For some reaon I cannot sign into the xbox one app available on my windows 10 laptop it keeps on comming up with "we cannot sign you into Xbox Live right now, try angain in a while". This error code shows up 0x80045c38. Not sure what to do. Any help will
be greatly appreatiated.

 

Games not launching (but they were yesterday)

I am also finding that I cannot sign into my xbox app and cannot play the games. It has only happened recently and means that I cannot access it. I am on Windows 10 on a lap top.

I logged into my Microsoft account as suggested by the links and I am still encountering this message. I ran the troubleshooter and hit these messages. After hitting the option to Reset and open Windows Store, I just get this error message about the cache
being damaged and no options to fix it.

1. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

2. Type msconfig and click OK.

3. On the General tab, click Normal Startup, and then click
OK.

4.When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.

Method 2: Reset the Windows Store cache

1. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

2. Type WSReset.exe and click OK.

3. The Store and a command prompt will now open without any message. The command prompt will automatically close once the Store's cache has been reset.

Let's manually reset the Xbox app. This will replace corrupted installation files that may cause this issue. Here are the steps:

1. Click Start > All apps > Windows PowerShell. Right-click Windows PowerShell and click More > Run as Administrator.
2. In the Windows PowerShell window, copy and paste Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
   and then press Enter.
   
3. Once done uninstalling, click this
   link and download the Xbox app.

I ran this command in the Windows PowerShell, which seemed to work correctly. Then, following that link opened the store with the option to install the Xbox app.



The installation appears to have been successful.



But, when launching the app afterwards, I encountered this same error message "We can't sign you in right now. Try again later."
