Cannot sign into my profile on Xbox (0x8007000E)

I was playing COD MW a couple of nights ago and suddenly lost connection. I have a hard connection to the modem. I was booted back out to the home screen for the game. After resetting the modem I restarted the xbox. The message, sorry we cannot sign you
in, please use a controller to sign in. I hit the home button on my controller, selected my profile (the only one on the xbox) and clicked sign in. Then I received the error code above with the text "Try again in a while. We can't sign you in. Try again in
a few minutes or check service status in Xbox Assist." I have tried over and over, reset the modem, looked at Xbox assist, which claims everything is working, tested my connection and xbox says the connection is fine, that the trouble is on their end.

Has anyone else seen this and can any of you offer any suggestions?

Have you tried doing a
power cycle? This usually resolves most issues. If that doesn't work, I suggest removing your profile and adding it back again.

That response not only doesn't help, but the replied thread is no help either. This "Update" is still in Alpha stage. It should never have been aloud to be tested in it's current state
