    Cannot sign into Minecraft Java Edition Account


    So ive recently migrated my mojan account to a microsoft account and ever since then i was getting issues.
    First, there were double entries for my account in the launcher
    One entry is my email's username (thing before @) with my xbox profile profile picture,
    One entry is my xbox gamertag/name with the default creeper profile picture.
    Clicking on my email'susername profile sends me to the login page, and after i sign in it switches to the XBOX gamertag profile and lets me play normally, but i get signed out each time i start the launcher
    clicking on the profile with my xbox gamertag says that i dont own minecraft and can only play demo edition.
    ive tried reinstalling minecraft launcher, removing the account and all, but nothing helped.
    now i cant sign into my account at all and all i get is that i dont own minecraft, and theres only the defauly creeper profile picture profile, minecraft.net says that i dont own minecraft too. now all i can do is play demo, help please!

    Recently, Microsoft started to integrate Minecraft Java accounts with Microsoft accounts. Could you have merged the wrong account at some point or signed in with the wrong account?

    According to what's described on the Minecraft official page: "After you link a Minecraft: Java Edition account to a Microsoft Secure Account (MSA), the accounts are permanently linked and cannot be unlinked. "

    This means that the Xbox Online support team won't be able to do anything about the situation, and my advice would be to get in touch with them once again to see what can be done about the case.

    Okay so you cannot purchase Java through Microsoft. You can only purchase (for now) Java edition through Mojang.com as is described here: How to Purchase Minecraft: Java Edition. Microsoft only sells the Windows 10 edition in our online stores and apps.

    Do you have the confirmation email for your purchase of Java edition? (Do not post here, only confirm or deny).

    Thanks for taking the time to share it. If you sign in to the Minecraft website, are you able to redeem Minecraft Java Edition there, does it show that you also own Java Edition or it asks you to buy Java Edition?
