cannot sign into microsoft solitaire collection on my new PC

This thread has a solution, and it appears that there might be an update you're missing There
was recently a big update to Windows, and on the Updates page in Settings you should be able to select to update. Once the OS is updated, you'll need to check the store for any updates as well before you try launching.

Please let me know if there are any issues you have in that process, or there doesn't seem to be any option to update on that page and we'll see what else we can do.

Based on this information, I can suggest this potential fix:

Step 1.
Press the Windows key + R key to open the Run window > type wsreset.exe > wait until the store opens automatically, and sign out of your account.

Step 2.
Press the Windows key + I to open PC Settings > Apps & Features > Installed apps > locate the Solitaire Collection app and go to advanced settings > click on “repair” and “reset”.
Open the Solitaire Collection app and sign out of your account if you're logged in automatically.

Step 3.
Restart your PC and sign in with the account that owns the Solitaire Collection subscription on both the Microsoft Store and the Solitaire Collection app.

Bump... I am having sign in issues with Microsoft Mahjong as well. My Taptiles and Microsoft Solitaire Collection sign in just fine.

My Solitaire games message says "there was a problem downloading game data for Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Refer to code 101_107_1"

I cannot find any info to help me.
