Cannot sign in.

Oh, of course. Have had some trouble downloading it again after I did it for a second time.

Can't find anything else corrupted per se, but a certain Mass Effect 3 Title Update also has a yellow exclamation mark... Just trying to get it to delete now as it wouldn't let me. Which it now has done.

I can't think where corrupted avatar awards would come from... SR4 is the only game I've played recently that even has them, and I certainly didn't unlock any.

Well my profile seems to have successfully downloaded, but it's still behaving strangely.

I'm clearly online, I can see functional ads in the background and people are trying to send me party invites, but I'm seemingly on an eternal "Signing in" screen that, if I exit from, I'll be signed out, and if I leave it it will most likely disconnect
for no reason if it does anything at all. Yep... disconnected.

There is no more corrupted data, at least none that can be seen from the storage menu. So, what now?

Could you try delete a portion of the current system update installed on your console and try reinstall it, as follows:

Turn off your console. Press and hold the sync button (the small one you use to connect your wireless controllers). While holding press the power button to turn your console on. Continue to hold the sync button until the console is completely booted up.

Go to System Settings and highlight Storage.

On your controller, press the following button sequence:

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

Let us know if this solution made any improvement.

Sorry! Go to System Settings and select Storage. Highlight Hard Drive (don't select Hard drive) and press the combination.

 

Huh... I did try that each time, but I guess this time I didn't 'cause, hey, it worked.

Yes, I did try downloading the update from Xbox.com to a USB, and it sent me on a loop constantly installing the same update. It wasn't even the necessary update and I still need to update, and I still can't.

 

Did you ensure the USB flash drive wasn't plugged in while the system tried to update automatically?

Once again, If you could safely remove the hard drive and use your USB flash drive, as an alternative storage device. Do you still see the same error code, or are you able to connect to LIVE with the help of this solution?

 

Okay, downloading the update worked with no hard drive and I'm able to connect as I was before, however when I reconnect the hard drive I still can't connect... also as before.

 

For what it's worth, I sorted it by moving everything onto another hard drive I happened to have in 6.9GB chunks.

Working fine now... No idea what was wrong with the drive.

Now I just have to redownload and reinstall what I can.
