Cannot sign in to Xbox One

For the past couple of weeks, I cannot sign in to my Xbox One. I've even changed the password and tried. I don't have any trouble signing in to anything else, but the Xbox one keeps asking me over and over for my password. What can I do differently?

Account banned on 360 but cant sign in on xbox one

Do you receive any error messages at all? Like invalid password even though it's correct or does it just take you back to entering your email again?

 

I have the same problem after update. Xbox one keeps asking for password and nothing happens.

 

Same issue here. Suddenly pops up. Myself I try to log in and on the homescreen it then takes me to the password screen and it immediately closes itself again before I can do anything. Tried to bypass it by ejecting the disc and booting up a different game.
There it takes me to the password screen correctly and let's me enter my password, then it simply takes me back to the screen to choose what profile and that is as far as I get. That's literally just it. Checked Xbox Live status and it's all nice and dandy
so that can't be it. Tried two full power cycles to try and fix it but alas, nothing changed.

 

Yea..after I updated today, I couldn't log in. it just kept saying couldn't find my log in and go to account.live.com sign in: 0x800704CF. I did a hard reset, and now it wont even turn on. just sits with the light on doing nothing.

 

I think somebody *** up something in update and next update should fix the problem. I hope next update come soon..

 

Hey, everyone! Sorry to see any sign in issues!

For those that are still having sign in issues and can turn their console on, have you tried the following yet?

• Remove your profile from the Xbox One
  
• Sign in at account.microsoft.com and verify your information is correct (password, two factor, etc)
  
• Download your profile onto the console again
