Cannot sign in to xbox live

Hey all,

Been trying for hours now to log into Xbox Live but no joy. Was gaming along when I turned on a second controller and suddenly I was disconnected from XBL and asked to sign in again.

Enter six hours of no joy. Constant code 8015D002 error. And yes i'm sure i'm entering the right email address and password/app passwords.

I did earlier activate the two-step verification service and know to enter the app password when asked for my Microsoft account password on the Xbox360.

Have created countless app passwords but none have worked. And, as far as I can tell, there is no useful help topic or support thread for what to do when it just won't accept your Microsoft account password or app password...

Any ideas? I'm one more password enter away from throwing the remote through my tv set...

Can you sign in Xbox live with a different E-mail account?

So, I have already an Xbox Live user and my E-mail account I used to sign in Xbox Live is about to close. Can I use a different E-mail account to sign in Live with the same user?

It's important, because I have all my achievements/ plus friends in this user and I cannot try it out, because I have not created another E-mail account, yet.

 

cannot connect to xbox live

hello. i cannot connect to xbox live. i have gone to the network settings and tested the xbox live connection and that works but when i try to sign in to my xbox live it wont sign in. i get a message saying that it cannot connect to xbox live when i try
to sign in

 

We are also receiving "Can't Sign In to Xbox Live" error. No codes are given.

 

Have you tried it recently? I know there were some service issues earlier, and they seem to have been cleared.

What about removing the account profile from your console and readding it?

 

Question guys, had an xbox 360 die about a year ago. just bought a new one and I am trying to upload my old profile to the new system. Any ideas on how to do that?

 

Hello! The servers are still down right now, For both platforms. This could be the main issue of you not connecting right.

Another issue could be your router/modem/gateway is filtering out the necessary info your xbox needs to function online!.

If it still doesn't work after the servers are up and running I suggest going here and learning how to configure your router to your xbox

Thanks guys, but still no luck.

Far as I can tell the servers are up but still won't accept password or app password.

Also my router isn't listed on the support page provided, yet another obstacle in my quest for gaming bliss.

Haven't changed anything on my router anyway so don't think that's the problem, was working perfectly well before.

Any other ideas?

Hello! You may need to set a static/reserved IP and DMZ on your router!
