Cannot sign in to Xbox Live

Hello everyone,

I am encountering an issue trying to sign in to Xbox Live. Each time I attempt to log in, I receive the error code 0x8015DC02. I've tried restarting my console, checking my internet connection, and even resetting my password, but nothing seems to resolve it.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem or has a solution to fix this? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sheba,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues signing in to your Xbox. To ensure that your console is not experiencing issues related to cache, I would recommend that you perform a power cycle, kindly follow the steps below.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 50 seconds.

Important: Make sure that you wait at least 50 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console. Once this is done, try logging in again.

If you are an adult but have the wrong birth date on the account, you need to change the account information as if you were a child.

Select Learn more about parent/guardian consent at the bottom of the information prompt.

On the next screen, click Update account information .

If prompted, enter your name and click Update .

Next, you will see the screen to update your date of birth.

same went to play bf4 when i got home from work and its given me the same error code u posted "0x8015dc02"

Same error here, I can sign in but cannot connect to xbox live

I signed out on Microsoft Store App, and then signed back in using the same Microsoft account, but I cannot sign in on Xbox App it says, "We couldn't sign you in to Xbox live " and gives this error number: 0x8015DC0B.

Apparently I can actually sign in, but I cannot connect to xbox live.

Now instead of saying my password is in correct it gives me a new error.
